Mac OX website)
Procedures for installing Electronic Beowulf 2.0:
- Download the installation file (Ctrl-click; select "save link target as")
- Insert the original Electronic Beowulf CD-1 in your CD drive
- Unpack the .sea file onto your desktop using Stuffit Expander*
- Open the unstuffed folder. Ctrl-click the start file and select "open with Netscape"
or "open with Safari"
- Note: For The Electronic Beowulf to run correctly on Mac
OS X using Netscape or Mozilla, the path name must not contain any spaces
(thus, files in a folder called "EBeo2 Folder" will not run
correctly, while files in a folder called "EBeo2Folder" will). The
Safari browser does not have such problems, and is available as a free
download at http://www.apple.com/safari/download/.
*Stuffit Expander comes with new Macintosh computers.
If you do not have Stuffit Expander, a free
download is available.
